So, I learned a new blogging lesson. Always hold your camera upright, because you cannot change the position of a video blog! On one of the last pretty days, we took George for a stroll around the golf course. As you can see, he moves at a pretty good clip! Those little legs just keep on churning! Wish I could be as happy about exercising as my dog is, my pace isn't quite as quick!
Ashley's Birthday Sept 22, 2007
Today is Ashley's 4th Birthday. How did it get here so very fast!! We had a fun time with presents, cake and outdoor fun. Her new bike was a hit! Papa and I gave her a gameboy (uh oh!) so now she can play along with the other kids. We played a game of Littlest Pet Shop together, and Ashley won. She caught on to the art of peddling very quickly so now she thinks she is all grown up. I found her a Snow White dress at the consignment store and she wore it for most of the party. Seems like only yesterday she came home from the hospital all wrapped up in pink. Time sure flies.......tic, tic, tic.
Theo
I spent a couple of days last week up in B'ham visiting Sarah and Theo. Andy was off on a school camping trip, so I went up for some Memaw time. We shopped, and played, and visited, and just had a good time. Theo is now changing so very fast that I wonder how the time could go by so quickly! It was fun to see him and see how much he has grown in just a few short weeks. Now he is a real "big boy" and is feeding himself! He no longer walks anywhere...he runs! I do have to admit, it's lots of fun chasing him!
How very quickly time goes by, there's that alligator again! Tic, tic, tic

More Memories!
As most of you know, I'm a scrapper. I have all the toys, and occasionally I complete something!! The last two week-ends I spent with some of my fellow scrap-addict friends and I finished up an album for Grandma Vi. Friday the 21st was her 79th birthday. I wanted her to have a special book to share our day to day life with her. With us in Washington and her in Kansas, it is sometimes hard to do that. Here are some pictures of my pictures! Enjoy.
Memories, from one generation to the next.
Sunday there was a rite of passage here at the Arnold home. We passed on Grandpa Snook's fishing pole to Deryck and Jim. We also sent along a small pole that was Daniel's and then Sarah's. It was fun to watch the boys; Deryck, Jim & Sherm, out in the yard casting and reeling and untangling the line from the trees and bushes. Dad's pole has hung in our garage for over 23 years waiting for someone to come along who would love to fish. Hopefully Deryck will be the one! Wish I had taken pictures, but sometimes memories are just made to be shared, not viewed.
A birthday bouquet arrived on Thursday to help Sherm continue his celebration.
No thorns on these flowers!!
Best Birthday!
Here he is, the birthday boy. It was a very relaxing day. We went to lunch in Tacoma with all the kids; Jim, Michelle, Deryck, Ashley, Andy, Sarah, Theo, and Daniel. Mexican food, a favorite of us both! Jenn called early to wish Papa a Happy Birthday! Then we drove out to Caddy Lake Manor for the rehearsal of Andy Williams & Tia Bartos' wedding. We took some pictures down by the beautiful lake. This is my favorite picture of us.
I find it very hard to believe that we have been together for 32 years and that Sherm turned 60 today. It seems just like yesterday that we were young and foolish and so very much in love. Hasn't changed much! Still very much in love, but much older, and wiser!! Happy Birthday, love. On to the next sixty!
