Boys & TV

Here is what happens when you turn on a basketball game and there are men in the room! (or football, or tennis, or golf, or.....) Scary how young it starts, isn't it?

The Guitar Man

Theo has a tiny guitar (actually it is a ukulele). He uses it for many things, including a broom! When he first starting trying to play, he turned the strings toward him so he could see what he was doing. Since my last visit, he has learned to hold it correctly and he even plays! Someday soon I'm sure we will see him on MTV!

Uncle Daniel & Penny

We made a day trip up to B'ham on Saturday just to say hi! and check in on the Lewis family, since the 25th is Sarah's 29th Birthday. Uncle Daniel and Miss Penny got to meet, she sure has grown since January!

We went to the park for some swinging and to the game shop to look for some treasures. Back at the house, Theo intertained us with his guitar and his silly antics. It was a quick trip, but a fun time! Sarah and I got to have a bit of alone time, so we checked out a local resale shop and the baby shop (we always seem to end up there!).

It's always fun to see your family. I'm just always surprised at how quickly they change and grow. I think I can hear that aligator again! Tic..tic..tic.

Ignite Winter Camp

President's Day Weekend Sherm and I went to Winter Camp----with the Junior High youth group, Ignite. Crazy, you say. I agree!! I cook for the kids and Sherm is my right hand. Lot's of adults go along to help, so we aren't completely out numbered! The kids are great, and it's a fun way to get to know the younger generation. One thing I have learned, you can not fill up a Junior High boy! Here are a few pictures of the fun & fellowship & friendship.

The Group

So here is the current crop of Grandkids. It's hard to believe that there are 5 of them now. I can remember very clearly when Brittani was the only one! Guess I'm not as old as I think I am. As I often say, being a Memaw is great. I have all the fun, and the parents get all the work!! What could be better?
